STANDARD
They consist of a support bracket normally made of die-cast aluminium with a hardened steel splined pin. The simple labyrinth sealing system avoids dust contact with the sliding parts. The hanger bearings must be regularly greased to ensure a correct operation and long life.
The BASE® intermediate supports, present inside the screw conveyor, are elements of junction between the various sectors of the spiral. The number of supports changes according to the length of the screw conveyor. Normally one is mounted every three meters.

HEAVY-DUTY
The Heavy-Duty hanger bearings, in addition to the features already described for the standard hanger bearings, are equipped with a double labyrinth frontal sealing system that improves shaft sealing and extends the life of the bearings. Their peculiarity consists in the possibility to replace the wear bushings without disassembling the screw through an inspection door.
Heavy-Duty intermediate supports are connecting elements between the various sectors of the loop. The number of intermediate supports depends on the length of the screw. Normally one is mounted every three meters.

Broached bushings
BASE® broached bushings are weldable elements made of steel with heat treated internal toothing. Available with internal diameter 40mm or 60mm.
The broached bushings are welded to the ends of the central shafts of the screw spiral and, thanks to their internal toothing, transmit the motion from the gearbox to the various elements of the screw via the intermediate supports.
